Batman Baby Shower Invite: Newspaper Style

I love hosting parties, and people love no having to! Just kidding! But I do love throwing parties. A friend and co-worker is currently pregnant and expecting soon. I wanted to throw a baby shower that she would enjoy. All of her friends know that she loves Batman, I mean, she does have a cat named Bruce!  Anyways, if finding shark themed invites was hard, finding a baby shower invite that was Batman themed was even harder. I don't know why I don't just start off with creating the invites myself! Silly, silly me! Oh well, I wanted to go for a more vintage theme, and what better than having it be similar to a newspaper. The Gotham Times to be exact. Now, this invite is already in the shop, so if you'd like to purchase the printable, you can!  Now, this time, I just changed everything and not just deleted things. Shark Birthday Party Invite

Little A turned four this week! I cannot believe that my little baby is growing up so fast! Can we just tell our little ones to stay little forever? Well, I have told him, and asked if he could stay little forever, and he says yes every time! Could little ones get any cuter? I have planned a few games for the kids that I think they'll love, but in order for them to play these games, they need to be invited first! I sent out the invitations a while ago, but am just now getting to posting what they look like! Silly me.  It was a little hard to find shark themed anything around here. I even called a few

A few weeks ago I posted about an IKEA hack of my son's table and chairs set. Of course I didn't get around to posting the chairs part of that table and chairs hack.... ANYWAYS, I didn't like the look the original chairs, new or used. I had seen many different hacks on the chairs themselves, mostly consisting of adding fabric to the seat or painting them. They all looked great, but I love upholstered and cushion seat chairs. I couldn't find any when I looked of what I was going for, so I decided to try it out. The chairs themselves took longer that the table, only because it was trial and error based. I just wanted to be able to put the table and chairs anywhere in the house and have them fit in. I think I did a pretty good job at that, if I do say so myself. Just a forewarning, I apologize for the poor quality of pictures, I was trying to finish the chairs and it was night time before I was able to get to them.  Not too shabby for someone who has no prio
